I'm Blind, I'm Not Sure How Many Steps My Staircase Has
This piece was done for an assignment called "The Folded Story", I based it off the original story with the exact title, I found the story from the podcast CreepCast and wanted to express it visually. You follow a blind man and his gradual discovery that his home is changing, but due to his limited senses it grounds an ominous atmosphere. The fully folded version demonstrates his first descent and the foreboding visuals that come with it, followed by the second stage based off of the story's AC scene. The man slowly realises there's another presence within his home and only discovers it until the hot air on the back of his neck doesn't exactly match with the AC system. The final and fully unfolded stage demonstrates the big reveal by the man installing a security system within his home and getting a friend to identify what his surroundings say. This would then reveal that the other presence watching him is slowly trying to become him, even though its features are distorted it gradually copies his actions, clothing, and hair, ensuing panic.
