Tebey - AN Artist Whose gird never stops

What do One direction, Fifth Harmony, Pixie Lott, Cher, Smash Mouth, FLO RIDA and most recently, U.S. country star Joe Nichols have in common?
I’ll tell you. All of these music sensations have songs written by none other than Peterborough, Ontario native, Tebey. Platinum-selling artist, award-winning producer, and an accomplished songwriter, Tebey has just released his long-awaited new single ‘Sink With The Sun’ on Friday, 15 July via Jayward Artist Group / The Orchard on all streaming platforms.
“When my co-writers and I were finally able to marry the right melody with the existing lyric we had written, we were surprised with how effortlessly it flowed,” said Tebey of his new single. “As a songwriter and producer, I strive to draw the listener in from the very first note, and I think we’ve managed to do that with ‘Sink With The Sun’.”
Directed by Sean Cartwright and David Schuurman, the music video for ‘Sink with the sun’ was shot in the beautifully scenic location of Tulum, Mexico. Why Tulum? Initially his own idea, Tebey said,
“The song’s lyrics paint a beautiful and scenic picture and I thought we could capture that essence by shooting in Tulum, Mexico.”
‘Sink with the sun’ is a story of lost love; the song’s main character travels to a memorable place to heal, and can’t shake the memories of the woman he once loved.
With four official Top 5 radio singles, five Top 10 singles and five Top 20 singles as an artist, Tebey’s new release is sure to be another success. In fact, the past few years for Tebey have been nothing but success as he produced #1 hit after another with US Billboard #1 with Justin Moore’s ‘Somebody Else Will’, a UK #1 with Pixie Lott’s ‘All About Tonight’, a Canadian #1 with Gord Bamford’s ‘Dive Bar’, and his first #1 as an artist and writer with his Gold-certified single ‘Who’s Gonna Love You”, which also won a SOCAN Song award.
Surely that’s enough to make a man want to sit back and appreciate all his hard work? Well, not with Tebey. This artist continues to proactively pave his way through the music industry by building his international fanbase, doing tours and promotional visits across the UK and Europe, and accomplishing his dream of connecting audiences with his music around the world.
Starting 2022 off strong, Tebey tore through the new year with his Canadian Shotgun Rider Tour, and later returned from the UK in March after performing five capacity shows at the C2C: Country to Country festival at London’s O2 Arena. Not to mention, he also wrangled in time to co-host a live radio show with BBC legend, Bob Harris.
Showing no signs of stopping to smell the roses, Tebey is currently working to produce a new album titled Tulum, which will feature his latest single ‘What Was I Drinking’. This single in and of itself has already racked up over 2.4 million worldwide streams and is launching into the Top 10 at Canadian Radio. Since the grind never stops, Tebey has crowded his summer with festivals, showcases and the final stages of his Canadian Shotgun Rider Tour.
