The University of Canberra Student Representative Council (SRC) is the elected student body that facilitates and enables communication and engagement between the University and its student community. The role and functions of the SRC are provided in the SRC Rules.

The SRC is calling for nominations to fill eight vacancies in its membership arising on 1 January 2019.

One Student Leader position is available for each of the following electorates:

  • International
  • Faculty of Health
  • Faculty of Education
  • Faculty of Business, Government and Law
  • Faculty of Science and Technology
  • Faculty of Arts and Design
  • Ngunnawal Centre
  • UC College

Student Leaders are elected for a one-year term commencing on 1 January 2019. The role is remunerated and involves providing advocacy and support services, engaging with clubs and societies and improving student experience.

Nominations open on Thursday 20 September and close at 5.00pm on Friday 12 October 2018. Should more than one nomination be received in an electorate, an electronic election will be held.
