Campus Life Awards: celebrating virtually

UCLife is putting in the hard yards to keep the community buzzing during ACT’s lockdown and UC’s Bruce Campus Closure. With a bustling discord server full of society events, study sessions, yoga, meditation, and games, UCLife has found a way to keep the community engaged and support student-led societies in running remote events. Their latest online venture was the UC Campus Life Awards, which celebrate all of the hard work by clubs and societies over the past year.

UCLife even provided attendees with a meal voucher, which works in multiple countries to cater to their wide audience. So, even though they missed out on an in-person awards night, all attendees were provided with a warm meal of their choice.

There were 12 awards up for grabs, which celebrate clubs and societies, events, physical products, and the people who volunteer their time to run them.
