Curieux (formerly CCAESARIAN and Curio) is the student publication of the University of Canberra, which has been running since 1972.
The history of Curieux is a proud one which was founded to provide a voice for students. Over the years Curieux has tackled a range of issues. Today, Curieux focuses on UC related issues, including arts, politics and many more areas.
In 2016, after forty-four years Curieux moved to an online platform to ensure the voices of students could better heard.
Curieux has a range of contributors who are students at the University of Canberra. We are always looking for more writers.
Curieux is run in conjunction with the UCSRC. Whilst the body oversees Curieux editorial independence is maintained and integral to the magazine’s operation. Unless stated otherwise, opinions expressed are those of author and not the UCSRC. The editor of Curieux is responsible for all publications.
Acknowledgment of Country
Curieux would like to acknowledge the Ngunnawal people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the University of Canberra is built upon. We pay respect to the Elders of the Ngunnawal Nation both past and present.
